Rebuild Hope is a virtual organization staffed with volunteers working flexible hours from their own homes across the U.S. Our success depends on an ever-expanding team of highly self-motivated volunteers who are passionate about our mission and committed to making significant personal contributions to our efforts. Are you currently working part time? Semi-retired? Or simply looking for ways to enrich your retirement? If so, we might have the perfect opportunity for you.

We are currently seeking volunteers for many different roles. If you feel you can contribute to our success please introduce yourself. Veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are especially encouraged to help each other through Rebuild Hope.

Requirements for all Rebuild Hope positions

  • You share our passion for the Rebuild Hope mission and our core values, i.e, you are pro-active, trustworthy, accountable, collaborative, respectful, compassionate, and self-confident yet eager to learn from others
  • You are a self-starter who can set goals, create plans, and track your own progress
  • You are willing to commit the necessary time to accomplish your goals
  • You can thrive in a virtual, unstructured organization without constant supervision
  • You have the skills and knowledge to perform well in a given role

Current Volunteer Needs

  • Veterans Advocate - Positions (3) Now Filled

    Case managers who qualify veterans who wish to join Rebuild Hope, help eligible ones get through our application process as quickly and smoothly as possible, and selectively refer veterans to other appropriate resources within the veteran support community.

  • Veterans Advocate Coordinator - Position Now Filled

    Serves as a veterans advocate (VA) AND coordinates all Rebuild Hope VA activities. VAs are case managers who qualify veterans who wish to join Rebuild Hope, help eligible ones get through our application process as quickly and smoothly as possible, and selectively refer veterans to other appropriate resources within the veteran support community.

  • Outreach Coordinator

    Develops collaborative relationships with nonprofits so they will confidently refer veterans and caregivers to Rebuild Hope and Rebuild Hope will refer veterans and caregivers to them.

  • Fundraising Director

    Develops and manages annual plans. Identifies, cultivates, attracts and retains donors and grow their support. Effectively leverages the talents of the entire Rebuild Hope team to achieve our goals and objectives.

  • Fundraising Specialist

    Helps develop annual fundraising plans. Defines and implements programs and projects to identify, cultivate, attract, and retain donors and grow their support. Effectively leverages the talents of the entire Rebuild Hope team to achieve our goals and objectives.

  • Public Relations Manager

    Leads all Rebuild Hope public relations efforts. Develops and manages annual plans. Discovers and takes advantage of new opportunities. Identifies and cultivates relationships with new media and traditional media. Effectively leverages the talents of the entire Rebuild Hope team to achieve our public relations objectives and goals.

  • Public Relations Specialist

    Helps develops and implement annual PR plans.Discovers and takes advantage of new opportunities. Identifies and cultivates relationships with new media and traditional media. Effectively leverages the talents of the entire Rebuild Hope team to achieve our public relations objectives and goals.

  • Web & Social Media Marketing Specialist

    Helps develops and implement our annual web marketing plans. Discovers and takes advantage of new opportunities. Identifies and cultivates productive partnerships and working relationships with organizations that successfully utilize the Internet. Effectively leverage the talents of the entire Rebuild Hope team to achieve our Web marketing objectives and goals.

  • Athlete Program Marketing Specialist

    Develops and manages projects and programs that engage amateur athletes in promotional and fund-raising activities. Manages the Rebuild Hope Fitness Challenge program with our partner Plus 3 Networks

  • Interns

    Intern positions exist in almost all areas of Rebuild Hope. Interns are expected to volunteer for at least 3 months on either a part-time or full time capacity.
